Yesterday I was 34 weeks with our third little one. This picture is not good. I'm going to just put that out there right away. My girls in Michigan are cringing right now because of the ponytail I'm sure but I didn't want to miss recording the day and to be honest, today I got up to go garage sale-ing and knew it wouldn't get any better than that!
and here are a few attempts at getting a picture of all three of my babies. Neither child was into it. Gracie kept wanting to stand in front of me or head butt my belly. Graham tried to kiss the baby but ended up a bit north of my stomach and well, we can't put that online! (ha!)
And my loving hubby also caught another marker of this pregnancy. My seriouslybigcantheygetanybigger? swollen feet. The Dr actually prescribed me compression socks! I moaned about them and whined a bit but they do work! Shane has to help me put them on and we laugh so hard every time but they do help. :)
God is good. We are doing ok and we are enjoying all of her kicks. Last night she had the hiccups and she was rolling all over. She's head down now and I'm happy about that. I often get a little knee/foot sticking out of my right side. I love it. I love these memories I'm making with her. I feel like I'm so much more aware of her than I was the other two. Isn't life a miracle? I know, that's so cliche, but it's true. Today I'm praising God for 34 great weeks.

Summer Fun
We went to a pool party for our friend Jonah and then Mom and Grace had a date afterward at Panera.
Grandma Diane had her granddaughters at the lake and we swam and had fun with them!
We watched the Cutie Parade and ate elephant ears...
with our friends David and Marah and
Shelby, Emma, and Grandma Diane!
We've been taking swim lessons!
Last year Gracie was so scared and cried and didn't like it. This year? She's a fish, jumping in all by herself!

30 Weeks
On Friday I was 30 weeks pregnant with our #3. (ignore the hair and the too small shirt, this belly is growing!) What a blessing. I am so very thankful to be carrying this little girl, to be her mama, and to love her. God ALWAYS knows what he's doing and His plan is so much bigger and better than we can even understand. I am grateful for His wisdom, peace, love, comfort, and blessings. I am also grateful for big coats to cover the belly that seemed to peek out of this shirt ALL DAY LONG. ha! :)
And my other two munchkins. Isn't God good? I want to always give thanks for his blessings-in the good, the easy, and even in the bad, and hard. Look at those faces and how can you not?

Psalm 139
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand —
when I awake, I am still with you.
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand —
when I awake, I am still with you.
If only you, God, would slay the wicked!
Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!
They speak of you with evil intent;
your adversaries misuse your name.
Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord,
and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?
I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!
They speak of you with evil intent;
your adversaries misuse your name.
Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord,
and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?
I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
