Dear Grace

Dear Gracie,

I love how you love on Gavin.  You are such a good big sister.  You can make him smile like no other.
I love how you are growing and learning.  You came home from a night away with your Dad and Grandpa and I swear you grew up 5 years.  The look on your face, your actions, even wearing jeans (she does not like clothes with buttons closures!).
I love how you are finding your independence.  Getting dressed yourself, doing chores, taking showers.  Even riding the BIG water slides! It doesn't come without growing pains and there are many parts of that you do not enjoy but you are finding it nonetheless.
I love your imagination.  You can play for hours with dolls, legos, even sticks outside.  You've taken to making "creations" with twigs, roots, dirt, and water.  I love it.

I think we are a lot alike and that means sometimes we butt heads, but Grace, someday when you read this I hope you know how proud of you I am and how much I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you.

Love,
Mom

Dear Gav

Dear Gav,
I don't want to forget-
-the heavy feeling of you sleeping so hard on my chest.
-they way you wake up sweaty and a bit cranky ready to eat NOW
-your superman stretch, both arms up in the air like you're flying :)
-your sweet little baby cry. It's changing to a bigger baby cry but for now it makes me smile
-your first laughs. They sound like you're trying to catch your breath as you squeal.
- the way your eye light up when you see your daddy, or sister, or brother
-how you search for your paci in the middle of the night right after nursing and then settle down to sleep in my arms.
-how special you are and how you have made our family so so happy.

Love,
Mama

I can't get enough of this sweet smile.  Seriously
